Class/Program Description

 

Hybrid Combatives (ages 17 and up):

Hybrid Combatives is the realistic, modern, approach to self-defense. A culmination of Master-Instructor Jason Pharo’s over 20 years martial arts training and combat experience. Hybrid Combatives features elements from all the disciplines Master-Instructor Pharo has studied. Including; Judo, Jujutsu/Jiujitsu, Kempo, Hapkido, Ninjutsu, Wrestling, Karate, Mixed Martial Arts, Pankration, Boxing, and Tactical training. This system has been proven to work in high stress environments, whether the street, the cage, or the battlefield. This program is the best all around system to learn for those wanting self-defense, fitness, discipline, and confidence. Hybrid Combatives is a belt rank GI (uniform) orientated system with the emphasis being put on real working self-defense applications in the modern world in which we live. The student will learn to fight in and out of all ranges of combat, from striking, clinching, to grappling, against one opponent or several. This system offers a good ratio of standing to ground fighting techniques, offering equal parts of both as well as a high level of fitness and conditioning.

Mixed Martial Arts (Ages 17 and up):

This is a class specifically designed to show you the fundamentals of Mixed Martial Arts. You will get a taste of the training professional Mixed Martial Arts Fighters would engage in while achieving an excellent work out! The class consists of various skill, technique, and conditioning drills for striking, takedowns, and submission fighting as seen in the
Ultimate Fighting Championshipsä and other MMA organizations. Perfect for those who want to become a fighter, or who just want to train like one.
